Communities@Work’s Foster Care/Out of home care program has been chosen as the 2013 charity of our choice. In 2012, with your very kind donations around $5000 was raised, we would like to double that if possible!

This critical service to Canberra’s vulnerable children and young people is in need of funds to support children whose families temporarily or permanently are not able to care for them.

Children may be in foster care for a few days, a few months, or long term. Wherever possible, the aim is to restore children to the care of their families. Some children, however, remain in care until they reach independence.
